Nice and early this week…

Note: Chapter 470 will be released in Japan on August 23rd… The manga is gonna be a 1 week hiatus for Japanese summer vacation. This week's chapter was part of a double-issue of Weekly Shonen.

Starks' Attempted Contextual Summary

Rin is pretty much dead, if not clinically… I mean seriously, Sesshoumaru has his Tenseiga out and ready to go. She ain't breathing, she ain't moving. Then suddenly…

DEUS MACHINA!

The King of Hell suddenly appears and snatches Rin away from Sesshoumaru in a blur of black. Sesshoumaru gives chase and follows the giant demon (who is ready and willing to eat Rin) to a mountain of dead people…

All the while this is happening, Fluffette begins to show a face of anguish, as if she is losing faith in the abilities of her son.

At least we're getting a much needed break from Kagome's whining…

Awesome site dude.

I can't imagine Sesshy will really defeat the Big Evil One in Hell. This is probably a test to see to what lengths Sesshy's compassion has grown. And, well, he's literally walked through the depths of Hell and is preparing to wrestle with the Devil out of love for a human — so I'd say he gets an A+ in Inu-Taisho's book. This is a much bigger test than Inuyasha, who just had to defend himself and Kagome from a giant dog who was ready to attack.
