Manga Chapter 473 Chi no Namida (Bloody Tears)

Higurashi's Preview

Kaou catches InuYasha's heart of sadness caused by Kikyo's death, and tries to eat his soul…

Starks' Take

How utterly predictable… Why did this bull**** have to come now?

Starks' Double Take

The last thing I ever wanted was for Inuyasha to have a heartfelt reflection for Kikyou after her death… FOLKS, THIS WILL SUCK HARD AND ALL THINGS GENERIC!

Thanks for fixing the CB, Starks!
As for Inuyasha, remember that Naraku has killed Kikyou twice.  And this time, she died in Inu's arms.  I would think that it would be pretty hard for him to get over something like that in the space of a few chapters.  And soon, of course, his sorrow and remorse will lead into one of the best things to ever drive a plot of any kind–revenge.  So patience…

I think Starks is just mad that it didn't happen sooner. He was annoyed the series jumped right into something new without any kind of memorial for Kikyo before. That and he loves to complain.

I'd say he has good reason to complain.

Of course Tony! Hopefully it'll be released before sunrise.

A few things affect the speed of releases by the entire Inuyasha scanlation community…

1. All three groups rely on an anonymous friend to provide us with raw scans…

2. Patches can't translate for any of 3 groups until she gets the script from this person and Koopa can't edit until he gets the translation. I can't release until I get the edited scans.

3. Everyone has a busy schedule filled with part and full-time jobs or school/college coursework. Life comes before scanlating.
