Okay, so we know Kanna's is involved, and it looks like it involves some creature that can "mirror" other objects. I just wish I could understand what their saying…

No. Not at all.
It''s just that I really do appreciate seeing the manga in it's original language.
Besides, I'm pretty sure that a translated version will be posted shortly.

I appreciate Japanese as much as any anime/manga fan should. However, I haven't learned how to read it yet….

Even though it was just setting things up, this chapter was rather interesting. Kanna seems so lonely, maybe even sad. I wonder if her thoughts of Kagura are going to mean something later, and also I liked how it brought back up how oddly like Kagura Byakuya is.
That was one badass looking mirror-youkai-thing. Thank you for the translation!

This chapter made me sad, as well. I know that Kagura had to die, but still…
If RT thought that Byakuya would be an acceptable subsitute for Kagura, she was (sadly) mistaken.

Indeed.
I know that Kagura had to die, but still…
Kagura didn't have to die…
Also I think that Mirror Youkai looks lame.

I'm happy to be able to read it now! My take is, I'm glad Kikyo was able to do something against Naraku. There is hope for an ending yet!
I have this feeling that Kanna, actually has feelings! She seemed kind of sad and forlorn at the death of Kagura, and almost pissed at Byakuya for even thinking he could replace her little sister.
The Mirror Creature looks like another lame Naraku creation that will eventually bite the dusr. What is Naraku looking for? A way to copy the Tetseiga itself into his mishmash body?

…Joking, of course. Byakuya's pretty goddamn slick. I'd much rather have some development for him instead of Kanna.

He's the new guy, and he's more annoying than Hakudoshi! (Yet, not as creepy.) I would be okay if they left Kagura alive, but Byakuya can go to hell with his master. I hope they kill him off soon, and please let Sesshomaru do it!

He’s the new guy, and he’s more annoying than Hakudoshi! (Yet, not as creepy.)I thought Hakudoshi was pretty adorable myself. I like Byakuya a bit more though, because Hakudoshi treated Kagura like shit. I don't know exactly where Byakuya stands with Naraku, so I'll have to wait and see before I pass judgement on him. If Byakuya does die (he probably will), I don't see anyone other than Sesshy doing it, due to their small rivalry/sexual tension.

I thought Hakudoshi was pretty adorable myself.
That demonic little boy looked like he came of the Omen or the Exorxist or something! He was never cute, even when he was still part of the baby.
And Byakuya is ok, but annoying in the fact that he never really fights. I thought it was his job to fight, while Naraku runs away?
Naraku's been fighting quite often here. And byakuya usually "observes" wherever he is. I wonder what his feelings with Naraku are. Will he betray him like all the others?
PS: Now you know Naraku's evil, when everyone's after you, including your own kids.

Naraku's a shitty father/character. And that baby sucked worse than Hakudoshi. And come on, this is somewhat cute:http://img79.exs.cx/img79/5927/othernarakuhakudoushi5px.jpg

This is a little random, but I always thought Hakudoushi and Kanna looked cute together. As for Hakudoushi himself, being a total brat to Kagura aside, he was cool and I liked how he actually fought.
Byakuya's funny and I get the feeling he might develop before the end. He's like a more light-hearted version of Kanna's brother and sister.

That picture was not cute, not by any stretch of the imagination.
That picture seemed to embody the very essence of the phrase "demon spawn".
Just looking at it, one gets the weird sensation that he's about to open his eyes and tell you with an oily smirk on his face exactly what you were thinking. Just as he did with Kagura. Hakudoushi was hideously evil; so much so that Entei allowed him to be his master. If Hakudoushi merits any sympathy at all, it's because like all of Naraku's children/incarnations/slaves he was used and abused.

It is very interesting how many characters are attracted to ol' Sess (can't say that I blame 'em). What kind of hot guy are you that not only women fall for you, but men as well? And don't tell me that all Naraku wanted to do was "assimilate" Sesshy into that collective hash of piddly youkai that is his bod. I'm not having it.

I have to agree with you on both counts Kalliope. Hakudoshi all ways seemed to be the child of the devil. At least Kagura hated Naraku because she wanted to be free. Hakudoshi didn't really have a reason to hate Naraku, except he just wanted to! Well, maybe you can say he wanted more power and overshadow Naraku, but really that was Akago's thing. Hakudoshi was just psyhcopathic.
And everyone I know loves Sesshy. You can say he's narcississtic, but I say- he has a reason to be!

Yeah, I see what you mean. I read it again. But I still think Hakudoshi is a psyco. Reading Volume 38 again, I was again greatly saddened by Kagura's murder. I hope they pay that bastard Naraku, back in kind!

Eh, there's nothing but hate between Sesshomaru and Naraku, especially after
Kagura. As for guy/guy couplings I still gotta say the classice Bankotsu and Jakotsu one is my favorite.

I think those two were just best friends. Jakotsu was openly gay. I think he would have made his attraction to Bankotsu plain. I also don't think he'd be chasing down Inu and Sesshy, if his heart belonged to Bankotsu.

Yeah, you're right. Still, I am quite fond of that coupling, and wish that they were still around. They were a lot better than some of the crap we have now, that's for sure.

But unfortunately, I also thought Sesshoumaru was a girl when I first saw him. (Don't tell anyone!)

Yep, Hakudoushi is extremely pschotic, but that's what makes him so great. ^_^
I don't like Shippou, he's always getting Miroku and IY in trouble with their girls..I love when IY kicks him into the sky (Ranma references ftw). He does get credit for being a pimp though,

And Shippo only states the obvious, like most children. It's Inu and Miroku's fault that they have relationship problems.

That was the beginning of the infamous sword arc with the..I think it was a badger or raccoon who disguised himself as Mujina and tricked Shippou into thinking she lost her father.
It was really funny, but the one where he gets posessed by the parasite is my favorite. Chicken Shippou! XD
