The fake Tessaiga is just that – fake. Of course it doesn't possess the same properties as the real one, it's ludicrous to expect the fake Tessaiga to repel the mirror youkai that spawned it from its own hand. Naraku only held Tessaiga in the anime btw, though I doubt it would have repelled him at the time anyway.

In response to comment 246.  Thats exactly why he could hold the tetsusaiga, because he is a Halfling.  As for the fake sword, I think it has all the attacks as the real one.  After all, all he does is mirrors inuyasha's attacks, and weapons.  But we will have to find out if my theory is correct on "mirroring", anyone here heard of "mirror move" from pokemon?  I think RT will use the same principle for the fake fang.Well I guess we have to wait and see.

Wasn't there something like this before? I remember something about a fake and that Inu said it would never stand up to the real thing. Does anyone else remember this?
Oh, and Naraku can hold the tessiega because he's a hanyou. However, the tesseiga has a seal on it because the Inu's father put it on there, shortly before he'd bequeathed it. The father himself used it, and he was a full yokai. So, only the real one would have a seal. There is only one seal.

I read this rumor that there will be an Inuyasha Movie 5, called The Final Confrontation. I don't know how much water this holds, but someone posted a trailer vid of it on Youtube, however, when I hit the link, Youtube said it had been removed on the orders of Yuimori Comp., or whatever the company's name is that does Inuyasha. So maybe there is something to it? Or else why would they take the time to complain to Youtube? There are thousands of inuyasha vids on there. I've done a couple myself. Why take the trouble for this one? One can only hope the rumors are true

Inu and gang find a threat, threat is usually a Naraku monster, Koga arrives following scent, Koga flirts with Kagome, Inu steps in his way, Koga insults and argues with Inuyasha, Inuyasha insults and argues with Koga, Koga Insults/argues back, Inu is about to make another comeback when Kagome tells him to sit, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo comment and speculate in the background, Threat attacks causing Kagome to cry out, Inu and Koga fight threat and may or may not grudgingly work together, Threat/monster is destroyed but there is still questions of what naraku is planning, Koga flirts with kagome and says a loving goodbye, Before inu can argue again kagome tells him to sit again, koga runs away in a whirlwind into the sunset.

I am a major Sessho fan. But i also like how he interacts with all the other characters. I also like to see Inu just because he's often the comic releif. Especially when he's talking to characters that he's rivaling with. i.e. Koga and Sesshomaru

It's not that I don't like Inuyasha.  I do.  It's a story that has many qualities which are appealing to me; the fact that it's basically a jidai-geki alone would make me read it.  And should RT decide to "do away" with my Secchan, I would finish reading the series (albeit with much less enthusiasm), just see how it ends.
But it's Sesshoumaru that transforms Inuyasha from a merely a good story into a great one.
From the very first, I knew that Sesshoumaru was going to be different.  That his character would have more revelance.  I put up with his infantile whining, un-attractive self-absorption, and cruel treatment of his younger brother, because I knew he would change. 
When/How, I didn't know.  I just knew that he would.
And when he did, I was damn proud of my Secchan!  I felt justified; for even though he is a fictional character, I am not, and it was nice to know that the past 10 years of my life weren't in vain. 
All said, without even touching upon his godly sexiness (for us girls), and his superior abilities and strength (for you guys)…

Hey I like all of the characters in inuyasha too.  However, there are some that I can't stand, for example, all of the 7 bands.  I don't even know why RT put them in there if they were eventually die.  All they did was slow down the story, and inuyasha.  True, that thanks to them we saw the great and mighty Inu shed tears, but thats all they were good for(all of you Jakotsu fans out there, sorry to dis your favorite character, but I am just stating my opinion.)As for Sesshomaru, its true that he is a cool character, never loses his cool in battle.  But, everytime he tries to get rid of his brother, he ends up getting hurt(not to mention major power boost after each battle, kinda reminds me of the Seyians from dragon ball Z).  I never thought that guy would actually lose his cool in battle over a woman.  But then again, I never new he would care for a human either.  Guess even full blooded demons can change(in RT's stories anyway)

No matter how you look at it, Jakotsu was gay.  and I am not fond of those kinds of characters/people.Honestly, Inuyasha changed as well.  If you all remember correctly, Kikyo even said that in one of the chapters. He learned to trust people more, learned to help others in need(well maybe cause kagome makes him most of the time).  So I would say, he has grown as well now as well as Sess, but still.

In answer to #287, Sesshomaru has really not added to his sword at all. He just got it reforged to be better, in place of the weapon that he broke defending Kagura's honor. (Since when has Inu been willing to do that?)
Inuyasha, with his many additions, I don't think the tetseiga is the same sword anymore. In comparison to the tetsaiga, the tenseiga is  a virgin.

Hey, I was listening to some of my music, and I had just finished going over the special about Inu and Kikyo and how they first met. I felt bad for dogging Kikyo out all this time. And I came across a song that would be perfect for her farewell song to Inuyasha in this final (please!) time she died. 'I Will Always Love You' By Whitney Houston. It tells of her love for Inu, yet releases him to Kagome. I think it was very beautiful. I think I will do an AMV with it.

I think Inu is alright in his own kind of ways. He's just a misfit teen whose been wronged alot and has been denied many of the things that should be rightfully his. He's been hurt once too many times and this has made him distrustful. He constantly brags and acts rashly because he doesn't want to be seen as some weak half-breed the world was right to ignore and hate. He is slightly sociophobic, and this translates into anger and wrath. Kikiyo, Kagome, and Inu-tatchi have been working to help him with this, but it takes time.
The only problem I've really had with Inu, is his constant abuse of Shippo and other children, as well as his indecesion over Kikiyo and Kagome (I made a vid about it with a trumped up version of Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name" on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoWTXFIL4l8). But that's about it.
Of course, being overshadowed by a tall, more handsome, better-dressed, rich, stronger, and more noble older brother is hard to take as well.

He's shown his soft side to Kagome more and more throughout the series, has accepted his fate as a hanyou and no longer wishes to become a full youkai, and even considers her his home. It does take time, but time has passed and they've all succeeded in having Inuyasha heal his wounds. Sure he may not be 100% recovered, but I'm sure Takahashi's waiting to resolve the rest at the end of the series.
As for making up his mind about Kagome and Kikyou, IMO it was never about the girls themselves because he's loves them both deeply (though I think that in the time he was a part from Kikyou, their love for eachother changed and no longer was the same passionate sort of love). It was more of a decision of staying in the past or moving on to the future. Inside I believe he chose to move on (now it's pretty much guarranted), but for the sake of Kikyou, could never just leave her all alone. His abuse with Shippou isn't really meant to be taken seriously as Takahashi seems to like rivalries between the lead and the little kid in her series'. Personally I think Shippou's just asking for it sometimes anyway. =P
