Like a relevation thing or maybe not out and out helping the crew, but something close. Just because they're showing concern for her. No one ever cared about the other guys they fought. Except Kagura, who they all fell over each other trying to be nice to right before she died. I kind of see the same thing going on, kind of a tendency in the writing, I guess. My guess kanna's doomed but there'll be some redemtion or another, and Takahashi doesn't want the good guys looking bad (beating up on her and then her doing something decent before dying.)
