I’ve heard it confirmed, Kanna dies in this chapter. She commits suicide on the order of Naraku, so that her shards can kill Inu-gang. (doesn’t work of course)One shard goes into Kagome’s eye however, and Kanna tells her of the light of purity within the Shikon Jewel, that this is the way to destroy Naraku. This is her last words, hence the title.
Goodbye Kanna, join your sister in her freedom…

Naraku! You’re days are numbered, slimeball!!!

Kanna is dead? Sooo, another one bites the dust….sorry, I just had to say that. But I AM upset that that bastard told Kanna to commit suicide, and right when she was about to switch sides too. I sware, sometimes I think he cares about his minions as much as I care about Kagome looking like a pirate. Who knows, it might give her an attitude adjustment…. No offense meant towards Kagome fans, or Inuyasha's bad taste in girls. Offense was meant towards Kagome and a small, tiny weeny bit was meant towards Inumomma. Small bit.

My other username was better…I tried to be cool with a Japanese name..Dog Freak, cause I am so addicted to InuYasha…and ended up with something that mean Dog Deformity. UGH!

I really do dislike character bashing, except Naraku, then I say open season. People get so mean, particularly about Kagome and Kikyo when really both have good points, bad points and points that make you want to rip your eyeballs out when you read them. It's just that people take it WAY too far, Ive seen some NASTY fights break out between Kag fans and Kik fans. Its stupid.

I'm a little surprised that Kanna literally blew up. Not surprised that she revealed the Jewel's point of light. And not surprised that she did willingly die at Naraku's command.

…although I am a little confused why she literally wouldn't hesitate to explode, and yet, moments later, betray Naraku so completely. If the Inu Gang had talked to Kanna a little more, and she hesitated before she exploded, then her revelation would make some sense.

Poor Kanna.

Yeah, I just saw the chapter, Alberto, and you're right. It really was cold of Naraku. It looked like the main motivation might have been his anger at the Inu Gang's kindness towards Kanna, rather than a real hope that she'd actually kill any of them.
