To all prospective editors.

You should be able to do most, if not all of the editing techniques outlined on this page (http://www.n-u-l-l.net/wiki/index.php/Edit) within 12 hours of raw/script availability. Even if you've never done something like this before, you must be familiar with the Photoshop/PaintShop/GIMP tools involved.

While most of these procedures are excessive and go beyond what will be needed for the Inuyasha raw scans, you must be prepared to do them if the raw quality is lower than  usual or if I specifically ask. The "recommendeds" for each week are dirt removal, leveling, and consistency with previous chapters. The "must haves" are text placement.

EDIT: If you need an example of "before and after" from raw to finished product, use THIS CHAPTER 481 RAW and compare it to the scanlation.

I'm not really able to do the job, but as advice to help you find someone who can, perhaps you should post a couple of in-progress pages to really show what it is you need.  The article wasn't really that clear about what steps need to be taken.  If you put up even just a before and after it would really help potential editors to see what they're getting into.

I'll put up raws for 480 as an example.

I practiced most of the procedures in Photoshop with the raws from 481, and I compared it to the scanlations I downloaded. I understand pretty much what is needed to do.I'm just wondering…when does the editor receive the raws? Tuesday? Or the weekend?

The raw come in out in Japan on Wednesday and because we are behind Japan time-wise, we receive them on Tuesday.
