I swear, somebody upstairs REALLY hates me… At the very least this week, I'm not sick (thanks to everyone who wished for my good health). But I have bigger problems, my parents blind-sided me as I was trying to get my laptop repaired by Dell. They got tired of how I was trying to resolve the situation and took it upon themselves to cancel the warranty and just request a replacement. Now, rather than having my laptop repaired last week, I have to wait to until at least the 23rd 15th or so before I receive a replacement. This prolonged lack of a laptop has had heavy implications for me academically and I'm sure my grades will suffer somewhat. This also screws me over, because I might not be able to do this week's chapter until at least Thursday evening at 6PM EST. There is a fair chance that this will also hold true for next week. It's not that I don't have access to a computer, the problem is that the computers I do have access to have restrictions that prevent me from using Photoshop or GIMP on them. The only 5 hour windows of opportunity that my roommate graciously allows on his computer to do the chapters are on Thursday and every other Sunday afternoon. But look on the bright side, after everything is said and done, I get a brand new laptop (a lot better than my old one) at no cost to me or my parents.
First Edit: Dell has shipped the new laptop far earlier than expected and I should get it this Thursday since they shipped it 'Priority Overnight'. I can say with almost 100% certainty that next week's release will be on time (Tuesday night / Wednesday afternoon).
Second Edit: The laptop has arrived!
