I'm fairly happy with how its been this year because, you see, Gunnison is in a valley, which means that it's in one of the lower parts of the state. Since heat rises, we get temperatures from negative 25-50 fahrenheit about this time of year. People are walking around in negative 10 degrees thinking that it's warm, lol!

2414: You… are…. awesome. I never thought of bacon… Strange, given the enormous attraction I have to it myself. Seriously, I'm salivating just thinking about it. That's probably why I shouldn't be allowed to take part in this idea; I'll likely end up fighting with Sesshoumaru over the bacon, and that will either leave me dead, or Sesshoumaru in a mild half-amused/irritated state at my sardonic attitude toward him. Come to think of it… I think that would make an incredibly funny piece of fanart, but unfortunately I can't draw.

To Everyone who answered my question: Yeah, my intuition tends to go on the fritz when I try to predict what might happen in this manga, so I thought I'd ask you guys. Thanks for the reassurance…. the only downside is I want Kohaku to survive somehow, but I KNOW he's never going to live through this. I mean, Inuyasha and company really want to find a way to save him, but with the exclusion of the possibility of Tenseiga by Sesshoumaru's mother, there's really no other option left.

I just would really love to see that courageous boy to come out of this alive, particularly because he has accepted that he is as good as dead at this point. I want to see him proven absolutely wrong, and having another chance at a normal life. He deserves it most definitely.

Then again, Kikyou NEVER got her chance at the normal life she wanted to live, and she also deserved it. So, I guess it's a toss up.

As for the thought that Sessh might die, I think the odds are against it, but it definitely within the realm of possibility. I do think that Kohaku's probably going to kick it within the next few chapters.

Irene: I think I saw 'Starchaser' at some point, a really long time ago. I think going that route would be a decent idea. The dichotomy has been Sesshoumaru = Tenseiga, Inuyasha = Tessaiga for so long that it's gotten a little hard to see how things could turn out any other way.

I don't dare read the spoiler, but I really enjoyed 494. It does seem like the manga is beginning to phase into ending. For some reason, though, I have this bad feeling–like Inuyasha or Kagome are going to die or something.

By the way (and sorry for bring this up, I just recently read this), when Kikyo finally died in the chapter "Light," did the severed soul that her and Kagome shared return to Kagome? I remember Kagome commenting on feeling a warmth while the soul engulfed her alone, and I'm wondering if it perhaps re-entered her (while the group of souls that drifted off into the sky were those of Midoriko and the many souls of women she had "borrowed").

I mean, where else could it go? Is it possible that a small portion of a soul could go to the afterlife, while the majority remains in a body? It's not as if it was "Kikyo's soul" in the sense that the body that was known as "Kikyo" owned it, and likewise for it not being "Kagome's soul". It's just one entity that was separated. I'm wondering if this is why Inuyasha, after expressing some of his anguish in "Wounded Heart" (chapter 474, the one where the flower demon "Kaou" dies) looks at Kagome and says "It's…alright now".

Lys: Killing off Sessho would be great for dramatic effect, but I don't see it happening. It would steal Inu's thunder too much.

I think Kohaku will die, though. He's already accepted that fact. He'll have a nice scene with Sango, and then go kablooey. It'll be a sad scene.

Don't worry, he's going to get through this eventually. If he's gone, who's going to take care of little Rin? That little girl might just commit suicide if he were to die. I think he need her, she might actually be the only one able to talk sense to him. He won't dare harm her, and she's got him wrapped around her finger. She might just save him, like he saved her so many times.

(Oh, and I didn't mean to forget you, I just saw you late. Oh, and if you don't think you have enough snow, I'll be sure to send some up there. I'm getting tired of it. We had some this weekend, and we're supposed to be getting some more. My uncle lives in Colorado and we weren't able to contact him for a week after the big blizzard a month or so ago. He and his family like to ski up there though, so they were happy. I just don't get it. )

Anyhow, does anyone else get the feeling that Sesshoumaru is going to die in the very near future? I have the most horrible feeling. Luckily, my feelings tend to lead me nowhere (logic does better for me), I just wanted to know if anyone else felt that Sesshoumaru's newly acquired tendency to act on his temper would effect him long-term.

I agree with you Mental_Butterfly. I think it's very wrong that Sesshomaru would get nothing and Inuyasha get everything, even if this series is named after him and he is the weaker half-demon. There has to be more to this that Toutousai isn't saying. Something about the true meaning of Sesshoumaru's power.

Maybe the Tessaiga reabsorbs the Tenseiga, but both sons get something even better in return? Or, one thing I thought of was this 80s cartoon movie called Starchaser, in which the hero spent the whole movie trying to learn the secret of the power of his sword, only to find in the end, that the sword never had any power to begin with. It was all inside of him all along, the sword was just a tool to teach him how to use the power and to help him mature and get self-confidance. This could also be anothter possibility for Sesshoumaru, and he'd definately surpass his father like Toutousai alludes to.

And Naraku gets to Kohaku alone?! Oh no!!! Somebody come to protect the boy, anyone! I don't care if it's just Sango and Miroku alone! Inuyasha and Kagome are still in the modern era, Sesshomaru's having a temper-tantrum, where are all the protectors when you need them?! Naraku's about to win and kill the boy with the LAST SHARD and there is nobody to be found…this is pathetic guys…really pathetic.

When I woke up today, it was raining… though I heard somebody ploughing the streets with a snow shovel (mind I add, it was even before 7 o'clock in the morning, so if somebody didn't have to get up early, their plans were ruined immediatelyˇˇ") and I checked several times, why would somebody using a snow shovel, when it was only raining??? o.O
When I got on the streets, sleet covered everything in my path…
And during my stay inside the University, snow began falling!
So we're finally having snow (though with slime :/ ), but finally!!!! Snoooow!!! xD
