Inuyasha Chapter 498 Spoiler Preview
Inuyasha v50 ch498 "Shinsei Hiraikotsu" (Reborn Hiraikotsu)

Naraku and Sango have a long conversation about Kohaku. It feels like a fight is beginning. Naraku puts out shouki. Kohaku’s shard appears to react to the jyaki.
Scene change to Inuyasha’s group. They’re talking while running. That the jyaki has gotten stronger and Kohaku’s shard has become corrupted.
Scene change back to Kohaku. Kohaku attacks Sango’s Hiraikotsu. It seems to be the doing of Naraku’s jyaki.
Naraku and Sango talk. Kohaku is being controlled even though he is conscious. The battle begins. Sango throws her Hiraikotsu. Inuyasha’s group arrives.
Naraku doesnt’ have time to dodge Hiraikotsu.
Naraku: “!” , and it pierces his body. Jyaki comes from the tattered ends of his clothes. While Hiraikotsu is flying, it appears to swallow up the jyaki.
Naraku: (I who am a mass of jyaki have been broken by another jyaki?! No, that’s… something else. Some other kind of poison…)
Naraku falls apart. His body does not reform. Hiraikotsu returns to Sango’s hand. Naraku escapes.
Conversation and Sango monologue. It smells of Yakurou Dokusen’s sake. The jyaki-within-jyaki breaks up.
Jaken hides around Inuyasha’s legs. Jaken gets stepped on.
Rin takes off the gas mask, and goes to Kohaku saying, “Hang in there!”
Kagome: “He can’t move?! It’s because of the corruption in his Shikon shard.”
Sango: “Kohaku…” To continue in the next issue.
