it's a bit ironic, that I only became a member now, before the whole thing is about to end I only found this series in... let's see... *counting* summer of 2005, so my connection with Inuyasha have been very short *sigh*

Oh my freakin' God KRATTOS just gave the most brilliant ending I've ever heard!! I would have never thought of that and you know in a weird way it really makes sense!!!! A brilliant idea is a joy forever, thank you for that great thought. It gave me something to truly smile at today!

Okay, for those of you who keep saying that "the end of Naraku does not necessarily indicate the end of InuYasha"–well, I think you're wrong. I'm not trying to be rude and I'm certainly not trying to point people out, I'm just saying. Naraku has been THE bad guy in this. Naraku has been as much a part of InuYasha as Kagome, Sango, Miroku, Shippou, and Inuyasha himself. Without Naraku, the main bad guy, who else is there? Sure, Naraku could have a son or something, but that's been done INSIDE the manga–kind of. He had Hakudoushi and his other half. And I don't think that Naraku would mate with anyone/anything else, he's too narcissistic. So, I think a son/daughter is out of the question. And, if/when Naraku dies, I doubt that Takahashi-sama would just REPLACE him–it'd be like replacing one of the main characters! Too much revolves around Naraku's part in the story for it to go on without him. So, I think that Naraku's end very much signifies the end of InuYasha the manga.

That's not to say that Takahashi-sama won't tie things up for her characters. As I've said before, she created these characters over ten years ago, and she's been developing them ever since; she probably loves each one more than we do. I think she'll do them justice in the end, and I doubt she'll let us down. So, the end of Naraku signifies the BEGINNING of the end of InuYasha, I should say.

And for those of you who believe that InuYasha can't end now: well, again, it's been going on for over ten years. There's only so much you can do with a bunch of characters before it gets old–it's better to wrap it up than ruin the whole thing by dragging it out for another ten years. Plus, everyone keeps saying that the ending is coming "so quickly". Guys, you've had years to prepare for this! I think you should be honoured that Takahashi-sama has been dedicated enough to herself and to us, her loyal fans, for continuing to publish her unique ideas. Plus, good mangas and animes never die away. If you don't believe me, why don't you go to fanfiction.net? They've still got tons of fanfics coming in every day for old mangas/animes like Sailor Moon. And we know that InuYasha is every bit as popular as Sailor Moon was, so there's no doubt that people will continue to love it in the future. Plus, the ending is sure to give us a bit of closure in that there's no more wondering. Finally, we'll know all there is to know about the characters. And if there IS something to wonder about, then you can fill in the blanks yourself! Make yourself a happy ending.

I'm sure that Takahashi-sama will continue InuYasha for a little while yet. Maybe not as long as all of us would like, but try to enjoy it while it's still running.

everyone will die. Then Shippo will grow and become the kyubi then kill naraku, go berserk, destroy konoha and get sealed in naruto

Just because it's the 'final battle' doesn't mean that it's going to end. It could just be the end for Naraku. Not everyone else.

O.k R.T does this to me everytime she makes a really good manga good plot fun characters with all diffrent personality traits and flaws so you feel really attached to the characters…………..overall a great manga the BOOM she gives them the worst possiable endings ever! I really hope she does not destroy Inuyasha.

oh...My...GOD!! I think I'm going crazy! I can't believe that it's almost over! There's two thing that I hope to happen: 1: Inuyasha and Kagome confess each other , 2: Miroku and Sango desides to live together
