Personally, I think the overflowing gushes of AAAHNNGST to be pretty amusing, but then I have teenaged daughters. If I didn't find it funny, I'd be a raving lunatic by now.

I hope that Miroku doesn't die, because I would hope for an ending where the whole gang is on a plain and are in peace without Naraku and Naraku is dead. Miroku is with-out his wind tunnel. InuYasha is with Kagome and Miroku is stilll alive to be with Sango.

I do not wish the series to end, because knowing Detective Conan and how long that series is. I think that InuYasha should have the same preference to how long it is. As for me, I jsut stumbled on this site and saw these chapters. I read 494 thruogh this, but now I think I really need to read from where the Anime ended.

I wish for the continuation of the Manga, but I do wish that it will end so the Anime of InuYasha will come back. Because the Anime was the thing that really got me into IY in the first place not the Manga. But I hope that the Anime will continue sometime soon, whether the Manga is over or not.

I love InuYasha. I was crying in the last chapter when InuYasha realized what he did. TT_TT Don't Die Miroku!

I can see how you would confuse Inuyasha's crappy writing with Kishimoto's(Seishi and Masashi), but its actually written by Rumiko Takahashi, a comparably bad writer.  God I hope Miroku dies just for a curveball.

Hey everyone. First time posting here but long time fan of the Manga/Series to InuYasha. But here is something i think some may find new out. And I was told this from a good friend of mines who also does Manga work of her own

I second Avalon2193's comment. What the hell is happening to Rin? And when is Shippo going to make his grand entrance and save the day?

I'm thinking Sesshy will go after Inuyasha now with every intention of killing him. He's probably convinced Inuyasha's lost himself to Naraku's demonic energy and therefore needs to be dealt with before he can hurt anyone else (ie. Rin). That would explain why he asked Kags whether it was Inuyasha who gave her the wounds on her arm. If Inuyasha had the ability to hurt her then there'd be no saving him. Well we'll see what happens I guess.

Just for the record…my money is that Miroku doesn't die. The holy men never die in these kinds of fairy tales.

Umm…thing is, I don't want Inuyasha to die either, but I can't see how the manga will end in any other way. Of course Kagome can't stay back in the feudal age and Inuyasha can't cross over for good. We can rule out Kagome meeting Inuyasha reincarnated in future – Fushigi Yuugi; and we can't expect them to stay in their separate worlds – Escaflowne. So my guess for the ending is: Sango and Miroku getting married, Shippou and Kohaku living with them, Kagome going back to her own time, and poor Inuyasha falling victim, perhaps trying to save Kagome – "I'll protect you with my life" something of that sort. Please comment.

I still don't think Miroku's going to be dead at the end of the series.  We'll see what happens in the meantime though.  He's definitely my favorite character out of the bunch, and I think I'm in for some depression.  Of course that's what I said the last time the kazaana was at it's limit.

Sorry forgot to note…I read an interview RT did somewhere and she said they basically shut down production on Inuyasha due to a financial conflict with the production company. It would be nice if the series came back but I'm going to be honest and tell you the chances are slim to none.

What I do envision them doing once the manga is finished is one last movie or an OVA finish the series up. OVA is most likely…kind of like what was done with Fushigi Yuugi. They had 2. Here's hoping

doozo yoroshiku .  first-time posting, but a regular visitor of this site for quite sometime now.  i'm a huge fan of the series/flicks, manga, and fanfics of Inuyasha.  whatever spoilers or comments you'al post, it helps me keep tabs on things, especially if i don't have time to read the most recent scans.  so … my thanks to all of you! if any of you have any fanfics you've written, let me know and i'll read 'em with pleasure. 

anywayz.  if what Senliten says is true (that Takahashi is steering Inuyasha into a traditional Japanese myth in the end), i'm afraid  it may be right based on my readings of Japanese folklores and movies i've seen from Kurosawa's collection.  westerners are so accustomed to happy endings, but this isn't always the case with Japanese storylines.  any anime fan would realized this by now – that some anime series/stories do end sadly  with both the antagonist(s) & protagonist(s) gone (or dead) in the final episode/chapter. 

Needless to say, "there'll be Hell to pay if Sesshoumaru dies …"  as one of my friends told me.

It's not so much that Westerners are accustomed to happy endings, it's that many are accustomed to Disney. Disney f*cked up all the faery tales. Seriously, take a Grimm or Anderson anthology and just read. Most are not the best of endings. 

 True, any anime fan should know by now that many don't end happily ever after. I really am excited to see how this ends.

Given I read a post on the IYED Group site. Urd-Chan did a interview not long ago. If not a few months at a convention. Discussing about this in particular.. And a few hidden things about a rumored AI sorta Manga, but would not be made by Miss Rumiko herself.

Given its been said the Anime itself is set to go back in a form of OVA's for in Japan. Seeing as its stated the voice actors kept close tabs on one another.

Its the DUB Voice Actors that are the concern. Seeing as there doing heavy productions for alot of things. And its said Viz was working on another anime project at the time of interview so it could be a small bit for either or ends to see a continuation of the anime.  

But I still wonder about this AI ordeal… Seeing Miss Rumiko does have someone in mind for that job of work…. *thinks* well nevermind im not going to shout out what she said in the interview itself its best people find out themself anywhom

Senliten – I'm not going to spend the next half hour surfing the web to find a random article just to prove that I read it at such and such time, sorry. I honestly could care less if people believe it or not. Since none of us are industry insiders pretty much anything we think will happen or have heard as rumoured to be happening is speculation at best anyway.

If RT and the production co have changed their minds I read that article which was quite a while ago then great I'm thrilled but I don't see another full blown anime series happening. Though if your sources are right and they are releasing an OVA in Japan then I guess that means my predictions were right neh?

Inu-Jea, I disagree. Ranma 1/2 is a comedy after all. Even though I love the characters she's created for these past 10 years, I'll just deal with the heavy blow if one of the characters ends up dying.

Afterall, if Kikyo can be reincarnated into Kagome, then Miroku, Sango and the others can be reincarnated too.
