Awesome,  I've never really like Manga, but right now InuYasha is my favorite. I hope that they will make the Anime again. I hope that thsi Manga will end happily. I love InuYasha! I can sense these chapters are very tense. Ahhh. . . the suspese. The past chapters where InuYasha hurt and threw Kagome off a cliff when he was in his posessed Demon form. Then he noticed what he had done. That was soo sad, *sniffle sniffle* Thank goodness Kagome was alright and Sesshomeru found her. Now I hope that Rin will be okay, if InuYasha killed Rin, then Sesshomeru would definetely kill InuYasha. That would be very very bad. Oooo, the suspense.

I think naraku is orchestrating, so that Inuyasha ends up killing someone under the influence of the shikon no tama. It was not Kagome so it is possible that Rin might bite the dust,  so too speak.

Rin found Inuyasha first… I knew it!! Well, that was very predictible, anyway… So, Naraku is trying to the put the siblings face to face again… and it looks like Sesshomaru thinks that Inuyasha is a hopeless case… Is Sesshomaru going to try to make Inuyasha recover his mind…? Jeez people! Making negative predictions and lamenting about how bad the ending will be when it hasn't even come out yet? Have a little faith! I have absolutely no idea what will happen…but I highly doubt Rumiko will let us down. It is absoulte TORTURE waiting though.

Also, just in response to the above, Kikyo has pretty much bitten the dust (Good, I couldn't stand her). While there might be some mention of her or something…she's definately not coming back.

Oh man, I can't wait! Rin-chan and the Yokai Inuyasha… Awesome is how I'd describe Takahashi's work with Chapter 536. I want to see if Sesshoumaru kills Inuyasha! Excitement! I LOVE INUYASHA! I want to know what Naraku is doing floating above Kaede's village. Totosai said that once Inuyasha defeats Naraku with the dragon scaled Tetsusaiga Inuyasha would have the most powerful sword on the world. If Inuyasha uses the Shikon no Tama to erase it from the world, then he wouldn't be able to use Tetsusaiga because it wouldn't transform. The sword he made so strong, just a piece of metal with a sheath to go with it, that would suck! So I will just sit and laugh until the end of the BEST AMINE THIS WORLD WILL EVER SEE! Thank you Starks! And thank you Rumiko Takahashi, InuYasha's creator.

Okay!!! Rin can NOT freaking die..at least not like this…I know some may disagree with me but Rin has to be able to grow up and not only claim Sesshomaru's heart but his love too. They have to be together in the end. Sure she maybe human and very very young but she'll grow even though he seems  like he doesn't and the only thing about this is that Rin will eventually die either way…but does she have to is the question..I know Inuyasha has been going on for a little more over ten years but so what..why ruin the adventure it can continue not only in other people's imagination and hearts but in the series as well….Instead of continuing with Inuyasha why not with Sesshomaru himself?? I mean he has to go back to the Western Lands and rule there anyway.. why not take Rin with him, when all this ends..why can't she live forever with her Sesshomaru???

I'm almost sure that there's a new chapter that is published in Japan every week or so. So stark then scans it and translates in with in a few days of its release.

The Inuyasha manga is published every week in Japan (it's still going on), Patches does the translation, and Starks scans and edits the chapter. The release usually comes within a day or two of the chapter's publication.

@Curious One Dont forget the 3 or so week ordeal. or was it two weeks. You know where a few chapters get published. Wait a week or two then start back up for more publishings.. Think that has to do with the storyboard concepts for Artists like Miss Rumiko to actually have work on then get to work on the main drawings.. Or so i think..

But given this isnt a comedy type sort as is Ranma. And more a very heavy romance/drama/bit-o-fight action etc.etc. Manga. And what the manga is being base off from… Its easy to say if not to most. That there may be some unhappy endings in some ways for those every fan has grown attached to.

Miroku for example.. He says in the manga its a matter of minutes or so till he is engulfed by the Kazaana. Given already know now It wont be just a sword swipe or claw strike at Naraku to kill him off.. And given the "ACTUAL" showdown / fight hasnt occured. And Naraku is merely toying with everyone inside him trying to kill them off without getting his hands dirty.

It can be easy to say Miroku is out of the picture if looked at from a readers perspective and looking back on things and putting every character/villan attribute and skill in to play.

Naraku hasnt even sheded blood yet and even if he does it would take more than a mere sword slash or so to kill em off. Given the fight itself in manga or animation time could be going on for what we see as a few seconds. But could really be going on for a hour to even days on end. in some cases

okay this is kinda off the subject but i just started reading the whole manga series like 2 weeks ago and im already on like chapter 398!Im super obsessed with Inuyasha ive seen all the anime tv series and all the movies its super crazy!!!

But anyways RS cant let miroku die!!!!!!(OR EVEN WORSE INUYASHA!)

Plus i was also thinkin that it really would be cool if rin was wit Sess BUT of course it have to be when she was older!otherwise it would be wayyy to weird!

Two things (I think I have been over this before, actually) :  First of all it was not uncommon in that era for men to take wives many years their junior.  Secondly you disdain Sesshomaru's relationship with Rin yet forget about Inuyasha and Kagome:  I theorize that, while Inuyasha is still a child/idiot or at least has the mentality of one, Inuyasha may be older than even the wildest assumptions can ever pinpoint.  Rumiko has said that he is akin to a 17 year old, but only in form.  He may be hundreds upon hundreds of years old for all anyone knows, Sesshomaru is deffinitely older than Inuyasha but the way demons age…Inuyasha may well be 200 years old easily.  During the time when Inuyasha was asleep Kaedeaged very much while IY showed no signs of age at all.

On endings: there is no way this is going to end like Ranma. Ranma was a series of slapstick episodes with no real story arc. There wasn't really a goal to accomplish. It just ended when RT got tired of it or ran out of silly situations.

There is a goal in Inuyasha. The goal of destroying Naraku and/or the Shikon jewel must be accomplished or shown to be impossible before the story can end.

I've read a lot of Japanese myths and legends, and a great many of them are very operatic; major characters die and the remaining characters are left with the horror of realizing the irony of the fate they had not wanted or expected. It does remain possible that RT will play it out this way in the end.

I choose not to believe it, at least for the moment. We may have some very tense moments; Sesshomaru may actually kill Inuyasha, but he is still capable of ressurecting him if he chooses. I do think Rin will be saved by the skin of her teeth; she has no more chances at revival. I'm very eager to see just what will unseal Kagome; whether it will be someone else crippling Magatsuhi or whether she will burst free on her own as she has in the past. I'm also very curious to see what she will be like when fully unsealed and able to reach her full capabilities. I'm very afraid it may take something like seeing Inuyasha killed to make her angry and sorrowful enough to shatter her shell.

That said, and while I have too much time to contemplate what's going to happen, I have come up with what has GOT to be the absolute SUCKIEST possible ending for the manga. Top this if you can!

Miroku had better NOT Die. However, have you considered that if he does, once they kill Naraku and purify the Jewel they could bring him back. Also I want to know how anybody can think Rin and Sessoumaru would go together. Sessoumaru is like fifty something years old or older, Rin is around 8! It's more of a parent child relationship that I see when I see them. Kohaku and Rin would go together most likely, Sessoumaru will never love again, that's what I suspect. The woman that he had fallen in love with died. If any of the main characters died I would rather it be someone like Kagome…not Miroku or Sango. Kagome's too whiny, she doesn't even belong in that time, don't get me wrong though, I do like Kagome.

First off, I would like to thank Sparks for doing this. I bet it's a pain to do this every week, I'm sure we all appreciate it.

I think that Kagome is going to be the one to finish off Naraku. I like her and all but she has not done much, she needs to finally step up. The whole Rin and Sessoumaru thing is kind of creepy to think about now but definitely possible. I mean when Rin is 30 Sessoumaru will still look the same. I like the idea of Rin and Kohaku better though.

I also have this theory that Inuyasha might actually die in the end so that he can follow Kikiyo in death…but Kagome will find a reincarnation of Inuyasha in her time (Awww, soul mates in any era.) I don’t like that theory so much, but it has got a sad yet sweet thing going for it.

I think RT is capable of putting together a story of more depth than one that just explores romantic relationships. All the available evidence suggests that Sessoumaru behaves as a benevolent yet distant father would to Rin. He expects her to be relatively self sufficient, but always has Jaken play "nanny." He is not nurturing as a mother would be, nor has he ever shown any physical interest in her; however he has protected her many times. The sword "told him" to resurrect her initially, she had been kind to him and brave (she wasn't afraid of him). S and IY Father seems to have been teaching the socratically through their swords. Without learning compassion, S would never reach his full potential. As to a possible interest in Kagura. I think he respected her for not being an automaton. I am not sure if that amounts to the same thing as romantic attachment. I would not rule out a possible future relationship between Rin and Sesshomaru or Rin and Kohaku for that matter. In the former case, age would be somewhat irrelevant, I am sure IY and S father was many
years IY mother's senior. I would personally be disappointed if Rin and S got together. It would nice to see a series in which many types of relationships are explored.
 
Parent/ child: IY and S and their father; Inuyasha/ Miroku/ Sango and Kag and Shippo; S and Rin; Kagome and her mother
You could also say that Kikyo protected Kohaku
Siblings: Kohaku and Sango/ IY and S/ Sota and Kagome
Romantic: IY and Kagome/ Kikyo; Miroku and Sango; Naraku and Naraku )
Friendship: Kagome/ Sango; S and Kagura; IY and Koga lots of others.
Master/ Servant: S and Jaken; IY and Myoga; Miroku and Racoon.

Sadly, although I have become quite attached to all the characters, I agree with samurai demon puppy, we may get a bittersweet ending. Anyway, RT will give us the ending she has in mind and not the one we want!

Holy snap! I can't wait! I love the series, the characters, and the whole "Never Ending Story" part that is directly related to InuYasha. I don't think that Inuyasha is going to get through the battle and come out okay at all.

BIG QUESTION: When was the last New Moon (in the manga)? It would hurt like hell if right after killing Naraku off, Inuyasha turns human. We all know that Inuyasha is willing to do anything to kill Naraku, even if it means that he would get hurt. Again, I can't wait for the scans, I won't be able to think in school, well yes I will be thinking but it eill be about Inuyasha.

Oh, I have been working on the size and shape of Tetsusaiga for when I cosplay Inuyasha. It is going to be six and one-half feet overall, the blade is going to be five feet alone, the hilt one foot long, give or take, and the remaining half foot will go towards the fluff. I can't wait until Sakura-Con.
