No one objects to Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship and he is like way older than Kagome as Sesshomaru is to Rin!!!

Notice the way he acts with her..and she's human…it would be perfect if he endsup with a human after despising them his whole life..

All the available evidence suggests that Sessoumaru behaves as a benevolent yet distant father would to Rin. He expects her to be relatively self sufficient, but always has Jaken play "nanny." He is not nurturing as a mother would be, nor has he ever shown any physical interest in her; however he has protected her many times. The sword "told him" to resurrect her initially, she had been kind to him and brave (she wasn't afraid of him). S and IY Father seems to have been teaching the socratically through their swords. Without learning compassion, S would never reach his full potential. As to a possible interest in Kagura. I think he respected her for not being an automaton. I am not sure if that amounts to the same thing as romantic attachment. I would not rule out a possible future relationship between Rin and Sesshomaru or Rin and Kohaku for that matter. In the former case, age would be somewhat irrelevant, I am sure IY and S father was many <br />years IY mother's senior. I would personally be disappointed if Rin and S got together.
