I want to read this, thanks soo much for sending these chapters to us. Domo Arigato! The chapter name, sounds scary. The scent of Kagome's Blood, what is InuYasha going to DO?! Is he going to hurt her again, that would be terryifying, and traumatizing for InuYasha if he regained his consceieness .
These Chapters are getting so suspenseful.

Interesting…sounds like Naraku's going to try and convince Inuyasha he killed Kagome with his own claws. Though I have a feeling this is going to turn out to be nothing like we expect hahaha

I know this has nothing to do with the next chapter, but what ever happened to Kagome's father. I can not remember hearing about him…ever. Did he die a long time ago or what?

oh no if Inuyasha attacks Kagome again that would be HORRIBLE!!!!!
Thats the only reason i can think of since she will most likely try to give the tetsuiga to him
ahhh Kagome stay away!!!!

Maybe the scent of Kagome's blood will snap Inuyasha out of it like it did last time….but thats only my opinion -__- I just hope Rin doesn't get hurt or Kagome or any of my favorite character. That would suck

Why are the titles so… Irking? I can't wait until this is released! If Inuyasha attacks Kagome again, Inuyasha seriously would hurt himself! What will Sesshoumaru do about Rin-chan? What is happening to Sango and Miroku, did they die? I doubt that smelling Kagome's blood will make Inuyasha snap out of Magatsuhi's possesion because he doesn't have Tetsusaiga to seal the deamon blood.
What did happen to Kagome's father? I have wondered about that ever since I started to read the manga. No one even talks about him.

I am not done with the cosplay subject! I think that I will cosplay another character form InuYasha and Inuyasha. Maybe Koga! Seeing as he has been dropped out of the manga completly, I will bring him to the Con.
Arigato and sayonara!

Perhaps the scent of Kagome's blood will alert Inuyasha to the fact he did not kill her. I believe he thinks (thanks to Naraku) that he did and the despair drove him back into his Demon form. Perhaps the hope that realizing she is not dead and that she is still there for him will be just what he needs.

i know financial issues may have to do with it, but does anyone think the reason VIZ and those other production companies wouldn't pick-up (continue) IY anime is due to Naruto's (Shippuuden) popularity?

VIZ doesn't produce the IY anime — they're the English version distributors. If the anime is continued in Japan, I'd very surprised if VIZ didn't distribute it. Can't see them ignoring a cash cow like that.
Now, I might have heard incorrectly, but it's been my understanding that the IY anime ended where it did because it had, in effect, caught up with the manga. (Have you heard anything about it, Starks?) I suspect that, considering the popularity of the series, and the success of the movies, the anime will probably renew once the manga has concluded.
Ah well, we can hope, can't we?
Looking forward to chapter 538.

Sesshoumaru-My-Love: Fainche is right in the fact that IY ending had nothing to do with Viz, but it should also be noted that even in Japan the Naruto anime was never a threat to the IY one. They did not air on the same channel, nor were they produced by the same company (so they'd have no reason to decide to invest in one over the other). They didn't air in the same time slot (on rival channels) so IY never lost ratings to it.
More importantly though- IY always, even until the very end, had far higher television ratings than the Naruto anime. IY's lowest rated episodes had about 8.5 percent of Japanese citizens watching them (8.1 was the absolute lowest, I believe), while an episode of Naruto averages around 5-7 percent if I recall. Naruto's highest rated episodes would fall close to IY's lowest rated ones. Also while Naruto as an anime has exploded in popularity over here, the ratings in Japan have gone down since Shippuden began.
In short, Naruto was never competition.

For those "still" wondering why the anime ended were it did.. It was cause the anime caught up to the manga in some terms.. Seeing as im geneous enough to ill re put what was said back in comments on 536 i made about this ordeal if its going to continue or not

But as said in last paragraph not much will be really said until the near end. And that can be when ever and where ever.. So keep your fingers crossed some would say I guess for it to pick back up

actully i hope he kicks the bucket soon and the tv show comes back. Also that the manga would start a new season with new people to fight.i love inuyasha but im bored as hell of naraku over 500 chapters and hes still alive

Acrazytiger: Another 200 chapters? That is 20 whole manga! I doubt that Takahashi-san would ever place a bet!
Avalon2193: Have you noticed that only a few people wear shoes; Miroku, Sango, and Sesshoumaru, just to name the only people I can think of. Not including Kagome.

I thought they were furry little leg warmers Langus.
Kaede wears socks with the flipflops. How is that comfortable anyway?

True, those socks can't be any worse than the "toe socks" we have now. Those are actually pretty comfortable as well. As for the chapter, I am expecting Inuyasha to come back to his senses completely at some point, though i doubt he'll come back without Kagome being torn up a little more, hence the title. Who knows, these things never really happen the way i predict!

oh my, perhaps i needed to reword my previous question. yes, Senliten, i've read your post earlier when you responded to Langus, i believe? and fully understood the series of complications it may pose once IY anime begins again. i guess what i'm tryin' to check if Naruto/Shippuuden was ever a competition. thanks to Haro & Faniche, they were able to explain all that. and i do know, beforehand, that Viz is a distributor and not a production company
