On a totally random note, not that we're not known for such things, I was prowling through the archives and found last year's April Fools entry where there was that mock interview with RT and she was "saying" that it was getting a bit strung out and she might have to go to 600 chapters to tie it all up. Well, here we are at chapter 539 and with the pace things are going, 600 does not look all that out of line! Any comments?

I propose a betting pool, the prize to be bragging rights on all the rest of us, where we try to guess the number of the final chapter. That should be fun for a while.

Ahh man! My guess is Kagome, because i really can't think of anyone else who gets captured as much and she's also in the perfect position to be captured. It should be interesting though!

Let's not forget that Rin is still stuck somewhere or another.  That's my vote.

I'm ready for some more Sango/Miroku action myself.  That's the plotline I care about. 

I'm hoping all these events are going to bring all our heroes together in one place for the final showdown, which at this rate isn't going to start until August.   I love this series but it needs to end.

sure she's taking forever but She has to. Its Naraku their fighting. If the last battle had ended in 2 chapter then that would be too easy and they would have done it 200 chapters ago. also I really don't agree with everyone who keeps saying that the series needs to end already because I love this series and i don't want it to end. Sure it's been going forever but that only means that its a good enough series for them to keep it going.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN HE LAST TURNED HUMAN? I think that everyone is going to get out of Naraku, after killing him and getting the Shikon no Tama, and Inuyasha is going to turn human and die as a human.

INUYASHA CANNOT DIE. I know that would probably be a really good dramatic effect and I would respect her for taking that risk, but he cannot die. The story is named after him! And honestly, I want a cheesy happy ending for everyone.

Everybody is talking about how they don`t want (or want) Inuyasha to die. I don`t want that either. But I think that for the manga to have an ending that means something and that everyone will remember and think about it once in a while, something tragic should happen.

I just have to say this to someone, so I can sleep again : I don`t care who dies (although I`m going to cry for days) as long as it is not Sesshoumaru. I think that Rumiko might have thought of killing one of the two brothers, but I gues she doesn`t want to make Inuyasha a greek tragedy. Although killing Sesshoumaru would make Rumiko`s life much easier. She wouldn`t have to think about what will happen with him or Rin. Think about it: Sesshoumaru getting killed by Naraku in order to save the others, including his brother. That would make Sesshoumaru the best anime/manga character ever, but who wants that (if you`re not a masochist)?

One more thing. Is it just me or does anyone else thinks that after the volume when the anime stopped, the manga is more about Sesshoumaru? So many things happen to him and he learns and evolves more than Inuyasha does. He even cries for Rin, even though Jaken does it for him   If he dies like that, he would eclipse Inuyasha, so even if Rumiko is tempted, she shouldn`t end the manga like that. I mean Inuyasha is the main character, isn`t he? I hope that she finds a dramatical ending without killing anyone, except Naraku.

Can`t wait for Shippou, Jaken, Kohaku and Aun to arrive.
