Seems to be. Naraku is trying to kill Kagome. Seeing how if she shoots the arrow once more or twice. Its all over for em. But still it leaves the question about that Mediou sword… Seems Naraku has one last final act or trick. But will the trick be pulled off seeing how he is not the one with the sword?

My money is on Byakuya(sp?) will show he is not weak and actually land an attack on Naraku. Sending him into oblivion (Hell) a.k.a the place where Sesshomaru and InuYasha obtained there Mediou..

 IMO, Sango's death would let the series end with just the right amount of tragedy to make it interesting.  But looks to me like everyone's going to live and it's going be all rainbows and cupcakes at the end.

That was a great chapter! Can't wait for the next! I wonder if Shippou took his chance to escape Naraku's body…I imagine even if he tried, Naraku's tentacles could easily grab him, preventing his escape.

I have a pointless rant to make: Why is the majority of the comments posted looking for a main character death?  You can make an ending good without it! I personally think the story give more depth to some of its characters before killing them off, at least.

Our main characters are just not sneaky enough. Inuyasha should keep Naraku's attention locked on him while Kagome sneaks off to the side and blasts a quick arrow at him. At least, don't announce your intention before shooting, for crying out loud!

Sango won Sesshoumaru's pardon when she confessed without weasling. He would not respect anyone who tried to wiggle out of her fate. She, however, is still wallowing in guilt and trying to purge it with a noble death.

Sesshoumaru should pull out that fancy new sword of his and just poke Naraku randomly anywhere. Doesn't it have the power to unravel a youkai and any of the pieces touching it? It doesn't matter where he pokes him, the destruction will just keep going and going until Naraku dies or dumps the bulk of his body.

There has been foreshadowing of Inuyasha (the comic) coming to an end for a long, long time.  But in the end Takahashi has drawn it out very skillfully.  She should draw it out a bit more, in my opinion.  That will make it all the more memorable :>  She will likely exhaust all possible options as to where the characters can go and what they can do.  As usual the main characters usually end up in a corner but they might possibly make the correct call and actually manage to kill Naraku this time.  With Naraku being so devious and always being a step ahead of the crew the only option that I foresee is that he will  ultimately pit the crew against one of their own, EI. give them a decision so as to sacrifice one of thier own or kill him, and they might make the right call for once in their miserable lives and decide that one life, albeit a virtuos one, is nothing compared to the oppurtunity to stop pure evil from reigning over the world.

   In my meditation about this story there seems to be only one outcome:  Since Naraku and Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are absent from the present day Japan there seems to be only one way to go with the story.  All demons and demigods (AKA Naraku) are vanquished and humans reign supremem over the earth.  Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, and all other demons, including Naraku, must be killed in order for the current timeline to continue peacefully.  I wouldn't be surprised if the only ones who survive this are Miroku, Sango, and Kagome.  Being the only humans they would be unable to distort human history irreversibly.

   Then again this is only my logical mind talking.  My fantasy brain wishes that Inuyasha and Kagome finally cross the gap of awkwardness that they have created between them and announce their love for one another.  That being done they tie the not in feudal Japan, start a family, a family bussiness of demon slaying, and start a dynasty of Half human, half Demon dogs and become the overmasters of human kind.  Like butter on taost baby;  mmmmmmmm :>

I can feel it in my bones. Whenever Naraku or Byakuya decide to use the newly gained attack, it'll catch Inuyasha by total surprise. Usually, when people get surprised they tend to react slower as panic sets in. This could be a possible set up for death to one of the main characters. Although, Shippo could divert the whole scenario if he warns Inuyasha beforehand.

Hahahaha. Good comic this week, Starks. It's so…so… well, raunchy and awkward on so many levels for starters. Whatever, I found it hilarious.

As for the chapter, I'd completely forgotten about Jaken until SamuraiDemonPuppy pointed him out, good thinking! I don't see him jumping in and saving anyone, let alone stopping anyone from doing something stupid (sango). My guess is he'll wander around looking for Sesshomaru and stumble upon something he wasn't supposed to see/hear. Who knows. I'm ready for the next chapter!

Sango is such a good person(that's the #1 reason why she is my favorite.) I hope she see's Miroku soon. And I really honestly don't think Sesshy will hurt her.   I absolutely agree.  In fact in the last chapter I was reminded of when Sesshomaru spared Kohaku ages ago because he 'did not have the fear of death in him'  I never for an instant thought that Sango was in any danger from Sesshomaru.  That said, I think her actions in this chapter definitely earned her some brownie points that may come in handy later.

1. Sango has expressed her willingness/desire to die or a reluctance to live several times since her introduction, and as recently as the last volume.

 2. While Miroku and Inuyasha are just as self-sacrificing, it has always been clear that they are still concerned with their own survival.  Consider Miroku's pause during the Yama-araishi battle.  Sango is not particularly concerned with her own life.  She would never take that pause.

In short, I absolutely stand by my previous statement.
