I agree INUYASHASAMA. With Kagome getting hit in that attack by Byakuya, something will play from that. Even with the chapter being titled "Naraku's Death", it's more than likely that Naraku finds his way back. If I had to take a guess as to how he will come back, it would be by taking over Kagome's body. I think this is a way that RT can push to get in her 600 chapters (even though that seems a long way off). Plus the picture on the cover shows Naraku, Kagome, AND Kikyo. I'd say those Kikyo fans out there are getting their second chance…although I personally am a KagomeXInuyasha fan, I'll admit that she'll have another day here.  inuyasha_lover(Quote)

Yeah I have a feeling that something might happen that has to do with Bayakuya attacking Kagome.

In a previous chapter (i can't remeber which one, but it's after Naraku transforms), Naraku says something about him not letting her shoot the arrow just yet. So maybe when Kagome shoots the arrow, something maight happen…

But if you think Naraku's death is coming in the two next chapters, you're wrong. Because the heroes were into Naraku's body during two novels (54/55), so, during the battle outside, it's necessary four novels (or a little more), you 'lle see soon. For example : " Inuyasha 56th to "InuYasha 58th ".

Personally, I think the story ends on novel 59th  .

This week resumes with Kagome with her bow readied.

Kagome: "I believe in this shot! My arrow will hit the Shikon no
Tama!"

Kagome fires her arrow at Naraku, or rather the Shikon no Tama.

Inuyasha: "The arrow disappeared!"

Like it was sucked in, Kagomes arrow disappears while heading inside
Naraku.

Kagome: "Please… pierce the jewel!"

Then the scene changes to Naraku. With the Shikon no Tama nearby,
Naraku recalls Kagome's words.

Kagome: "Naraku… the Shikon no Tama didn't grant your real wish,
did it?"

Naraku: "My… real wish…?"

Then an image of Kikyou passes through his mind.

Naraku: "That's right… I merely wanted Kikyou's heart."

Then Kagome's sacred arrow appears near Naraku.

Naraku: "Hmph… Even in the next world… Kikyou, it looks like I
can't go to where you are…"

Kagome's sacred arrow hits Naraku beautifully.

In Kaede's village, the clumps of Naraku's shouki vanish. Miroku
and Sango view this along with the other villagers.

Miroku: "The shouki around the village is being purified."

Then to Sesshoumaru's group. His three companions have already
gathered near him.

Kohaku: "Did Kagome's arrow defeat Naraku…?!"

Then to Kagome herself.

Kagome: "Did I do it…?"

The next second after saying that…

Naraku's orb plunges towards Kagome. Inuyasha promptly moves her
out of harm's way.

Sango: "Kagome-chan!"

Miroku: "Inuyasha!"

Miroku and Sango rush towards them.

Then Naraku, now just a face, appears above the Bone-Eater's Well
along with the Shikon no Tama, now purified white with the arrow
piercing it. Inuyasha's and Sesshoumaru's groups encircle him.

Naraku: "Hmph… at that time… I made a wish… on the Shikon no
Tama…"

Inuyasha: "?!"

Naraku: "It was at the time… Byakuya of the Mirage… cut
Kagome…"

Shippou: "She was cut by Byakuya?!"

Naraku: "When I die… that wish… will definitely be granted…
The wish… I made on the jewel… was the wish… of the Shikon no
Tama itself…"

Finally, Naraku is purified and disappears.

Everyone: "Naraku!"

And, the moment Naraku is annihilated, a meidou suddenly appears
behind Kagome.

Inuyasha: "Wha… a meidou?!"

ok so, i read chapter 552.. naraku's soul is purified and his wish on the shikon no tama is the actually the wish of the shikon no tama itself.. i don't get it , what would the shikon no tama want? to be purified ( i don't think so ) it's intent was to open a meidou in the back of kagome to sent her where ? to hell? why ?:)) fuck ! can't wait for the next chapter
