My BIGGEST, BURNING question that I have turned the Web upside down looking for answers for is "Can Kagome EVER see her family again?" Or is she stuck in the Feudal Era forever? The thought of her never being able to return is so saddening. It makes me want to cry, DDDDD:

I can't believe it's over! It was a sweet ending, although it'd taste a lie to say I'm not a little disappointed.

1) No kiss…wtf! I've been reading this damn thing for 5 years, and no kiss

2) Not enough Sesshomaru..I'm interested on why he left Rin with Kaede..even if it was just a trial phase. I wanted to know if he'd become nicer towards Inu and co…and they didnt explain that.

Hopefully RT will give a "JK Rowling" type interview and explain things a bit better, eh mates?

I can't believe I've been reading this manga for about 11 years now. XP

As for "rushed endings," I've read elsewhere (like 2chan) that Takahashi may have been forced by her editor to come up with a conclusion rather quickly due to declining sales (don't know how true that is without a sales chart, but it seems to be happening with a few other manga, too). I'd rather that be the reason instead of the one we touched on in here (back before the creation of the forums) last year: that she'd just run out gas and wanted to see how long she could milk it.

As for Miroku, he reminds me of my own husband. Seriously, as a woman who has given birth, there's not much he can do for her, ladies. It's remarkable that he's helping her with the laundry and trying to bring home food. Considering the era and nation of origin, he wouldn't be required to do those things. This means he holds Sango to the highest regard. And as for Sango being "reduced to a baby producing machine," that was a fact of life in those times. If those two are living in Kaede's village, her new duties would be to maintain the rice paddies and whatever else the village pays to the daimyou. Yeah, this is just a story, but Takahashi does try to get history right (sometimes).

I know this is out elsewhere, but I'll keep waiting. Starks and Patches continue to do the best work in regards to scanalation. Can't wait to see the joke page, too.

Inuyasha1770 - Good point - it would be nice if that was explained....at the very beginning of Inuyasha I thought that the jewel was going to have something to do with all the demons being gone in the future....it really make you wonder and leave you in confusion.

Technically.....wouldn't that mean that Sesshoumaru is roaming around somewhere in the future, or does Sesshi have a lifespan? lol.

I can't believe it's over. Last night I was so exsited when I read it but now I'm sad since there is nothing to look forward too each week. Although i can't believe Inuyasha and Kagome got married. Some things wrong with it though they don't explain how hundreds of thousands of demons died in 500 years I mean Inuyasha is two hundred and three ((one hundred and fifty alive then fifty stuck to the tree then three years when Kagome returns and the story is over)).

yes, i am very dissapointed with miroku!! somebody who wants so many children, i thought he would be an enthusiastic and loving father!! and even around sango later he's like "meh, whatever"
and some more affection showing inuyasha is absolutely necessary.

i really want to know why rumiko so obviously rushed with the ending!! it bothers me so much!!!

Yea, I agree, that was really predictable. Midoriko (spl?) played a big role in the jewel (in a sense), but there's really nothing with her in the end of it.

And I agree with Ginger on the nonchalant about the baby being born thing.
