An enjoyable episode that wasn't on crack cocaine. Oooo. Makes my eyes red just thinking about it. Ep 7 better not scrimp on Sesshy scenes.
I'm looking forward to this.

Starks, are you aware of any other fansubbing groups that are thinking of picking up the series? Taka only has eps 1 and 2 out, and while I'm totally understanding of the time it takes to sub, I still crave a source of quicker gratification. Viz is being great subbing them for us, but the video quality there isn't what you can get in a nice torrent.

That was actually good, the blood on Miroku managed to creep me and my family (who glanced at the screen at the moment)

Getting closer to Sesshomaru's mom and Rin... If they screw that up...

This episode was actually fine....for the most part. I cant entirely be happy but i can say that they didnt condense as much in this episode as the previous ones. In fact they did a good job this time condensing less. Im hoping Sunrise Starts learning from thier mistakes.

They kept most of the original in here, and now i cant wait to see episode 7. Well maybe i can keep myself busy folks.

Clap, Clap, Clap...Silently.

This episode just may be a step in a positive direction....for once, again.

During Naraku and Moryomaru's dialogue, the confrontation was brief, and i wish they couldve included the Kai plan of damaging Moryomarus armor. That confrontation of Naraku explaining his secret plan of weaking Moryomaru in general was Cut. The plan of strenghting Inuyasha with the implication of the Senki is also Cut. But they kept most of the original dialogue in the first place. To me this episode is starting to seem that the manga is less ahead in details than this new anime was far behind before-

That just means its a good thing folks, but it can be better.

The anime episode in the beginning point focuses on a battle between Naraku and Moryomaru, without any Spectating theories from Inuyasha and friends. Its just find out yourself what you think is happening. Which the general details for that were CUT.

So Sunrise DOESNT Cut this episode entirely and keeps the pace at a smooth level. Its as though 2 to 4 panels of ONLY A FEW original manga chapters were cut, and I dont have to understand that entirely. This time the pace was a bit fastend in a way that says that were not expected to understand everything, or that we are by jumping past 2 elaborate points for each one scene. 1 step for One Elabloration, wouldnt have been a bad thing but i wont complain though.

The dialouge pace between characters, YES I AM GOING TO SAY THIS, but it is improving. People before were talking too fast, and we get MORE than the average seconds This Time, between breathing and letting people talk. This is actually good.

During the start of the episode, noone seemed to address the Youmeiju to the extent where the characters pause, and think about what is going on, following their suspension of Disbelief. Page 17 in Chapter 439 was cut for an 50/50 understandable reason.

I would like to see Naraku's diamond spears purple because ive always though Sunrise would prove that theory right but im just asking for a little fun in color LOL.

This doesnt make up for the fact that every previous episode in this series has been cut and fast pace, up until now. The example being the downgraded action of the fights, and Kikyo in the Anime didnt even get a Dialogue with Moryomaru, herself, unlike first 10 of the
400 Chapters. Inuyasha and Koga never got to confront the infant after penentrating its shell.

During the scene Inuyasha and the others just gasp at the Yomeiju devouring Naraku, but they exercise that reaction word by word in though in page 18 Chapter 439. I suppose it can be overlooked for now though. The dialogue with the demon tree was cut as well, I say this because an exchange wouldve made the moment seem more intimidating. When Naraku absorbed the demon tree, he had spread a Misma towards Inuyasha- Chapter 440 Page 5, which was cooler than JUST Naraku heightening his distance from Inuyashas group while devouring a tree. I suppose it couldve been there, but it isnt that big of a deal.

Kagome only fired one shot in the arrow in the anime but in the book, she fired two: one at an earlier point in the right timing in the anime, but didnt fire a second one RIGHT BEFORE Naraku emerged from Moryomaru, and that was cut. - I can kind of understand that since it would just be a direct repeat taking up space.

Funnier thing is that she fired another arrow just like she did in the manga- post Naraku reemergence. I know these details seem like little issues but in the past they got all the sequences from the manga or just most of them and added new things.

Another stange thing to note is that now im at a 50/50 stance on what to think. Now we are just getting A DIRECT ADAPTATION which is good, but that question comes as: What am I to expect in a direct adaptation, if i know how all the scenes play out?? Maybe Sunrise will add things not in the original manga, but that is another step ahead meant for another time.

If only there was way I can say that even the overlooked chapter panels happened in the anime, but it was never on screen, or just entirely there, but a little bit. Most of the manga Chapters of this battle were kept intact, so the episode is absolutely worth looking into. I might get to write a review of good points next week.

This new perfomance does not stop me from the notion that Inuyasha the Anime is an opportunity to preserve future stories to be told. They used that notion in the movies, they did it in the filler, they even did it for the Kuroi Tessaiga OVA, and Im beginning to hope they do it here. Im just calm, and somewhat hoping that I to get to next weeks review.

Episode 7 Actually Sounds like it has a title.

No More: Meidou Zangetsuha title, or Dragon Scale Tessaiga, or The End of Moryomaru, no more Basic titles that thins-out the overall Next Week episode plot, and no more stealing names from Mrs. Takahasi's manga Chapter Titles on a constant Lazy basis. I was displeased by that, but now its Sunrise Animation being original with the title of Episode 7: The Mausolieum of Mount Azusa. Its a title that gets me to predict what might happen. Ive forgotten these Chapters and I will what till the end of this week to read them, oddly enough.

Wow, I'm a fan of this episode. Everything wasn't perfect, but it was bordering on the line of fantastic! I liked that they finally, finally, left a bit of a cliffhanger at the end. As frustrating as those were, I really did miss it. It's like they wrap every single adversary and leaves no room for anticipation for more. This episode though, kind of made us want to tune in for more.

I was so thrilled that they made Naraku kill Moryomaru. I was beginning to fret that they would make Sesshomaru be the one to end his life. I also enjoyed the awkward teamwork between Koga and Inuyasha. I also thought how Kagome and Kikyo voiced their same thought was really cool.

I liked how the episode only focused on Moryomaru's demise and not go wandering off to some other story arc. I liked Yomeiju and the execution of his powers to devour the infant. This episode was great and deserves at least a 8.6.

Next week though worries me. I sure hope they leave that cliffhanger at the end, but knowing them, they'll probably have it all wrapped up in time to focus on Kikyo's tragic demise. 'As the Stars Twinkle...' Seriously now, couldn't they come up with something more original than that?

All in all, a decent episode, but I worry for next week.
