Thank you so much Starks!  I'm sure Kikyo's final demise is coming up shortly since episode 9 seems to be the one where Sesshy goes to hell to save Rin and also upgrade his Tennseiga.

Judging by this slowing pace, episode 11 will undoubtedly be the final battle with Kanna.

OMG the episodes are starting to come in the right order. I know we skipped the intermediate chapters but im actually optimistic about the later episodes.

The first 5 episodes will always be judged terribly but the pace is coming back to its slow progression and it is starting to feel like the manga.

Im excited for those episodes. I think the ride is starting to become interesting again.

Oh wow, so they're finally getting things in order. I'm glad they didn't skip out on the Kaou arc. As cliche as it is, it does include some cute Inuyasha/Kagome moments and so far in this anime, we've hardly came up upon any fluff. The one where Sesshomaru goes to hell, is that where we meet Sesshomaru's mom and she helps him save Rin? So they're going to wrap up that huge story in one episode. :/ I don't think that's going to pull off very well, but we shall see. I can't wait to see the summaries.

Wow. What a great spoiler… Cosign with Meatbun66. It's so obvious that Kikyo's death is going to occur next Sunday (finally, godayum). The overall fan consensus has been positively shifting a bit more and rightly so considering things are starting to move in the right direction pace wise. I'm excited for that animation of Sessh's mom.  I wonder what her voice will sound like? Seeing IY's pain after Kikyo's prolonged death is going to be hard for me to watch though.

Episode 8 is Kikyou's death. Not episode 7.

Oh… I really hope they don't mess up the Hell arc. And I'm excited to see Sesshomaru's mom animated, won't that be interesting to see how they interact ;)

Nice to see some excitement about Sesshy! Yay! :)
I hope the hell arc is a couple of eps long. I mean we have to see grieve for Rin fer crissake! That was a defining moment for him.  Also Fluffette. That was huge when she was introduced a couple of years back in manga 466. Love the editor's notes on OM…. LMFAO!

According to a magazine interview with Hidaka Noriko, episode 8 is going to have some anime-original material.

Also, while it's nice that the Hell arc is getting an episode to itself, it's Sakuma doing the art, so take that as you will.

5+ years later and I still don't understand why such an unimpressive animation director like Sakuma is given all of the important episodes…
Also, I don't like the sound of anime-original material. Considering how the first 5 episodes were treated, I'm scared. Nothing needs to be changed, added, or padded with respect to Kikyou's death beyond perhaps a flashback or two.
Furthermore, I will rage for a straight 24 hours if chest-arrow is ruined.

I read on Inu-Goya that the eleventh episode is going to be entitled "Kanna's Gravestone" or something like that. Obviously, that's the episode Kanna dies and unfortuantely, another epic battle is shortened into one episode. :(

Starks my friend. I see where your coming from. As a guy whos getting anime, i dont mind if we get anime original material. I mean that makes it sound as though they're trying……………for once.

But YES YOUR RIGHT about questioning the animation director.
Oh definitely. I wont hesitate to agree!!!

I am saying this because i want to see a two parter with the Battle against Kanna. I dont want it to look as though its incredibly easy to experience. I Strongly hope Inuyasha Post Ep-7,  there will still be shock value in whats to come. I mean lets face it, why adaptate an anime Without original material. Then it would just simply be colors, motion, and voice acting. You may as well take a little more than what just an average manga person can get. I would know.

Sometimes with original material, an anime can be better than its book source.

I saw proof that Sunrise can take a volume and make the execution look good with the most recent episode. Im going to try to have faith in the Mekai Arc, the Stars Twinkling Episode, and the Sorrow Flowers Story. Im going to have faith as Not a reviewer, but as a guy who is feeling the entertainment value of the second anime.

Im hoping they split a couple story arcs into two episodes. I ll cross my fingers. :)   Only four days to go, guy.

I LIKE ANIME ORIGINAL MATERIAL.

I like to see some new stuff for the story, not just the exact same thing as the manga; that's boring. I already know what happened, so why bother watching?
