Since when did his whip double as a saving device? Some animator must've playing the Indiana Jones lego video game when he/she was drawing the cells to this sequence.  The extra few seconds in this lame sequence could've been devoted to missing scenes such as the answering of  "do you eat kids?" and "my arm is meant to hold a sword" and Sessh panicking at being told Rin wasn't breathing anymore.
